The demand for counselling and support services confirms it: ChemSex practices are more widespread than is sometimes assumed. However, the regular practice of combining sex with mind-expanding substances can sometimes cause physical and psychological problems; many users are aware of this. In order to offer these people more than just our ChemSex group, the maincheck of the AHF (AIDS-Hilfe Frankfurt) now offers an open ChemSex consultation with fixed hours.

Every Monday from 12 to 2 p.m., people seeking advice can come to the open ChemSex consultation hour without making an appointment. Whether it's acute crisis intervention, a preliminary talk about wanting to take part in the group or simply talking about one's own behaviour in relation to consumption and sex; here everyone can have an empathetic, unprejudiced dialogue with our counsellor Steve Willich. “In conversations with users, I noticed that consumption and the need to talk about it increased, especially in the Corona era. This is one of the reasons why we have created an open offer in maincheck that enables people to come to us with concrete topics,” says Willich. “It is important to us not only to listen to those seeking advice, but also to accompany them on their personal journey.”

Steve Willich is available to answer questions about the consultation hours.
